Making
a Difference on the Earth
We always talk about our
lives making a difference for the Earth. By this, we mean that we try to make
the Earth a better place, to leave the Earth in better shape than when we
arrived.
What we DON’T want to
do is to leave the Earth in WORSE shape than when we arrived!
Your assignment is to
make a poster, about how we can make a POSITIVE difference for the environment
of our planet. You must choose from one of the following topics:
Ø
Housing: how we live, how we
conserve
Ø
Natural Resources: Conserving what
we have left on our planet
Ø
Food: the way we eat, what we eat,
and how we recycle our leftovers
Ø
Transportation: fuel use and
air pollution
Ø
Waste: reuse, reduce, and recycle
Design and color your
poster. Make it beautiful and make it full of information. You may draw, use
clip art, photos, magazine or newspaper clippings and/or articles. Be creative!
Before you actually
create your poster, ask yourself these questions to make your ideas clear:
Ø
Will my poster tell everyone how to
treat the Earth better?
Ø
Will my poster give information
about the topic I chose?
Ø
Will my poster be original,
creative, colorful and correct?
Make sure your poster has
correct Spelling and Grammar.
You may make your poster
as large as you wish, but it should be no smaller than 11” x 14” in size.
Have Fun!
