Mr. Maciag is originally from Garfield, New Jersey.  He moved to Pennsylvania at age 5 and has been here ever since.  After graduating from Stroudsburg in 2000, he went to East Stroudsburg University.  He graduated in 2005 with a BS in Elementary Education.  Mr. Maciag is currently studying to receive a Masters of Reading from East Stroudsburg University, and is only two classes away. Mr. Maciag also became engaged this year and looks foward to his wedding October 2010. :) 

Mr. Maciag spent his years prior to starting at Notre Dame working as a camp counselor at the YMCA Day Camp.  Mr. Maciag completed his student teaching at Notre Dame Elementary with Mrs. Quintiliani, and Bushkill Elementary with Mrs. Wolf.  Mr. Maciag has also been a substitute for Stroudsburg School District.

Mr. Maciag is a member of St. Luke’s Parish.

He is excited to begin his 5th year at Notre Dame.
