Welcome to The Notre Dame Elementary School Pre-Kindergarten 4 program. Beginning pre-kindergarten is an exciting time for both children and parents. We want to help make this a happy and successful time!
We are blessed to be a part in the continued development of your child.
PHILOSOPHY
Our program is a Catholic Church sponsored preschool, with a goal of providing a quality program in which each child can grow emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Our teachers encourage this growth in a Christian context, providing every child with constant support and guidance.
Our program is based upon the child-centered, child-directed approach, which strengthens a child’s self-image. In a child-centered approach, the child’s development level is first identified. In identifying these skill levels, a teacher can choose classroom activities that are most appropriate for each child in order that a successful and positive experience is maintained.
What is
Pre-Kindergarten?

Pre-Kindergarten is:
A place where young children learn to work and cooperate in varied activities
A well-planned program that encourages children to do their best, but not force
them faster than they are able to go
A multitude of activities planned to allow children to develop oral language,
appreciate print, share and cooperate, and allow them to discover facts for
themselves
An opportunity for all children to experience success
Enrollment for
