EMERGENCY CLOSINGS

If it becomes necessary to close school or delay openings due to extreme weather conditions or other emergencies, it will be announced over local radio and television stations. Such announcements will be made by 6:30 a.m. or as early thereafter as possible. Unscheduled early dismissals will also be announced as early as possible. Please refrain from calling the school personnel, rectory or convent about potential school changes. The local radio station is WSBG 93.5 FM and WVPO 840 AM. The local television station is WNEP- TV Channel 7 and WYOU-Channel 2. Early dismissals will be posted on our web site (www.ndelementary.org ) as we are notified of the early dismissal.

Notre Dame Elementary School follows the SAME schedule as EAST STROUDSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT. If East Stroudsburg announces a closing or delayed opening, that usually includes Notre Dame Elementary School.
