Dear Parents,
As we begin a new school year, I remind you of our motto: "A Welcoming Community" and ask you to renew your commitment to a partnership with our teachers. A strong partnership of mutual trust and cooperation between parents and teachers is the key to a quality school.
The Notre Dame Elementary partnership shares responsibility for passing on our rich heritage of Faith in a caring environment, along with striving for academic Excellence by providing the best educational programs to prepare students to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
When mutual trust and understanding exist between school and home, the child develops a sense of security which is the basis of all natural and supernatural growth. At the same time, a strong school partnership is encouragement for the child to be a responsible family member, a good citizen, and a Christian witness to all he or she encounters.
Our partnership at Notre Dame Elementary includes parents, pastors, teachers, and students. These partners share a core of values which center on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
As we begin this school year at Notre Dame Elementary, our motto serves as a mandate for the future. And, through our partnership, working in a spirit of community, Notre Dame Elementary will proudly maintain this tradition of Faith, Caring and Excellence into the new millennium.
