Bronwyn Thomas Ferrier is pleased to return for her fourth year as a member of the faculty of Notre Dame Elementary School.  She graduated from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University (Ohio) in 1980 as a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Education, continuing with graduate studies in vocal performance and pedagogy at Temple University.  A mezzo-soprano, she has performed with many opera companies and symphony orchestras throughout the United States. Most notably, she made her debut as a principal artist with the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center in 1990, appearing there in a variety of roles in numerous productions since that time.

Prior to coming to NDES, Mrs. Ferrier was a member of the faculty of the Children's Academic Learning Center in Stroudsburg, teaching preschool children (ages three and four) music, as well as basic reading, arithmetic and computer skills. She also continues her long tenure as alto soloist in the choir of the Rutgers Presbyterian Church in New York City.

She lives in Stroudsburg with her husband, two daughters, two gerbils and a very feisty Cairn Terrier.
