Parent Network Organization (PNO)
About Us
Notre Dame Elementary School Parent Networking Organization (PNO) is an organization committed to promoting the welfare, comfort, and safety of our children in home, school, and community. The PNO Advisory Board works hard to meet these goals with the generous support of the Notre Dame Elementary School parents.
We organize many fun family events that bring our community together. Past events included but not limited to:
• Fall Harvest
• Family Dance Night
• Bingo Night
• Race for Education
• Field Day
Volunteer Programs (All volunteers must have their clearances and Virtus training) www.virtus.org
• We arrange for parent volunteers to assist during lunchtime in the cafeteria and at recess.
• We enhance communication by supporting a PNO website and sending updates through emails.
• We reach out to new and incoming Kindergarten families by holding Kindergarten orientation, implementing an Ambassador program and reaching out to new families just to say hello and welcome to NDES.
• We show our appreciation for our teachers and staff by holding a staff appreciation luncheon during Catholic Schools Week.
• We organize a Used Uniform Sale during the fall and spring to help our families save on uniforms.
