PARENTAL
INVOLVEMENT
Parents are expected to become active members of the Parent Networking Organization and to attend meetings which are held monthly.
We need and welcome volunteers in the cafeteria, library, computer room, and playground. We encourage parents to volunteer to become aides to teachers in the classrooms. Thirty volunteer hours are required for the first child and 7 1/2 hours for each additional child. Hours are recorded in a book at the front door of the school. Volunteers are required to have:
VIRTUS training
Criminal check
Child Abuse Clearance

In order to best serve our students, we do not allow parent volunteers to bring younger children with them when they volunteer in the building or on class trips.
